When life feels uncertain, when the future is unclear, and when the weight of the world seems too heavy to carry, it’s easy to look around for answers. We search for comfort, clarity, and control in the news, in people, in plans. But none of these can truly hold us up.
The psalmist offers a different perspective:
“My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
– Psalm 121:2
This is not a vague reassurance. It’s a declaration of trust. A reminder that our strength doesn’t come from the world – it comes from the One who created it. He is present. He is powerful. He is faithful.
When you don’t know what’s next, He already sees the road ahead. When your strength fades, His does not. And when your heart feels overwhelmed, His peace is still available.
Here in Jerusalem, we’re reminded daily that God’s faithfulness is not just historical – it’s personal. As part of the Pilgrim Prayers team, we are physically present in the Land of the Bible.
